The Construction Law Section provides a place for the many attorneys involved in these development projects to access information about construction related legal issues while building a community of Georgia lawyers who deal with construction issues, either daily or on occasion. The Section offers its members a place to:
Find articles and other resources concerning construction topics in Georgia
Foster collaboration and networking between lawyers who address construction related issues
Serve as a conduit to the State Bar and the state government concerning statutory or regulatory issues that require attention
Work with other state bars to provide educational opportunities to address construction related issues of a cross-border nature
Offer social gatherings for attorneys that allow construction law practitioners to build relationships that improve civility in the bar
Host forums and blogs that allow members to share ideas about breaking topics and issues
Provide outreach to underserved participants in the construction industry, especially Hispanics who account for approximately 40% of the industry

He has assisted clients with project development and construction-related legal matters since 1990. He represents a variety of clients, including Fortune 100 and other trans-national companies, with construction projects in the United States, Central America and the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. His practice encompasses pre-construction planning and transactional services, dispute avoidance and risk mitigation during construction and post-construction dispute resolution.
